Alrighty then...what do you do with potatoes, onions, bacon (bacon, bacon, bacon bacon!), cheese, Swiss chard and a 28oz can of tomatoes? Uh huh...you make potato lasagna (or as Dad likes to call it, labanya...damn foreign food!). Poppy called it Kitchen Sink Labanya. On a scale of 1 to 5 NOMS, I'd give it a 2.5. Tasty and we had seconds, but not something I'd make for company.
As you know from yesterday's dinner, the cupboards were getting bare so this about does it. Wonder what I can do with a can of tuna, kidney beans and garbanzo beans? Ha! Tonight the Donner's Do Dinner. As you recall, last week we had our Donner Prep Pizza Party to plan for this weekend's expedition to Clear Lake. Unfortunately, we've had some trouble getting all the Donner-Mae's together in one place so we've opted for dinner at the Presidio Social Club tonight and a later camping date in the spring. Stay tuned...
