Was not for the faint of heart. I'll put the picture at the end cause I don't want to scare you off...
Dad came home with us to stay for a while with Sister Kathy, et. al. He figures even if he's bored at least it's a change of scenery for him. As you know, the reason we went up to Dad's was to take him to the doctors. Test results came back for both Dad and Shirley. Dad has Alzheimer's. They put in on a med that will help a little with the memory. Turns out, in addition to all of Shirley's health issues, she had a small stroke and is now diabetic so looks like there might be some rough road ahead. Sure wished they lived closer!
Back to dinner...It was Dad, me, Poppy, Sister Kathy, Bro-n-Law Darryll, Niece Ashley and Close-Family-Friend Laurie, oh, and Jax-The-Cheese-Connesewer. Since I'd been talking up the Tee-Off, we all decided we'd have dinner there. Poppy and I shared the Argentinian Blood Sausage (I know, but it was soooo NOM) and a Buffalo burger, Sister Kathy and Close-Family-Friend Laurie got the last two orders of Mac-n-Cheese, Bro-n-Law Darryll got the Argentinean Blood Sausage, Niece Ashley got the gluten-free Buffalo burger (i.e., sans the bun) and Dad got a side of beef. Everyone moaned and groaned over their meals and a good time was had by all! Especially Jax-The-Cheese-Connesewer. She worked the room like a homeless person begging for change only everyone thinks she cute. I kept watching this old guy giving her French fry after French fry to the point where she was doing tricks for him. She should have been ashamed of herself. I was embarrassed for her!
Update on the housing front...we're going to meet the tenants in the unit on the Bryant Street Condo just to see what their deal is. But we're also going to continue to look. Time is of the essence now since the $8,000 tax credit will expire at the end of this month. We would also be eligible for the State's $10,000 tax credit. MUST FIND HOUSE!!
That is all. Bye bye...
