Poppy-Mae's Surprise Birthday Party

The Donner Party unites for a very special evening; Poppy-Mae's Surprise 50th B-Day party! Such a fun and great group of gals! Here are a few highlights...

I'm not really sure who made the dinner, Renee-Mae gave all the credit to BF, Chef Jean-Carlos-Mae, but I saw her in the kitchen too. Either way, it was fabulous. Pork stew w/black-eyed peas, mustard greens and a stock that was delish...right before serving, Jean-Carlos stirred in some mustard.

One more thing...Family Friend and Co-Worker, Laurie, just sent me this picture of her son, Matt's artistic handy work. This is one talented young man...and a sweetheart to boot! This is his surfboard that he drew on with special waterproof pens. He can actually use the surfboard. I don't think I'd want too.
