Mexican Street Food...

Oh yeah...that's what was for the dinnah last night. We met friends, STT, PU and son for dinner in an area of SF and it was NOM! Tortilla soup was great, as was everything else. They had the best salsa verde I've ever had.

I bet you want to know where we went, right? I ain't telling! You know why? Cause it's a neighborhoody restaurant and if folks start figuring it out, it'll get overwhelmed and start going downhill. Burma Superstar is a perfect example of this. As far as I'm concerned one write up in the paper or getting an entry in the Cheap Eats section is the kiss of death. So there you go...great food, great company!

My morning routine when I'm leaving is to open the garage, get all my stuff ready and back my scoot out. While doing all of this, My-Old-Gal-Meeko cat sits up watching me the whole time.

Well, today while I was doing my routine, Mr. Neighbor-Guy walked by with is dog. I stood next to Meeko and looked at that bad dog and told Meeko to "LEAVE IT, LEAVE IT!" Ha! There was fear in that dog's eyes!

She's a man-eater!

One neighbor's junk is our treasure! Oh yeah, I made a very cool find yesterday.

Perfect-Speller-Poppy has been wanting one of these and was so happy when I told her what I found. It needs a little clean up and if all goes well, it can be hard-wired to our current jack and we can actually use it. Not exactly sure how we'll get our voicemails, but no one ever calls us anyway.

Happy Friday!
