Not a lot going on...

Had a pretty quiet weekend. Went to Susan's house for dinner on Friday. Check out this picture. Looks like a dinner party from Lesbian Better Homes and Gardens:



I was watching the Cooking Channel and some gal made this beet/endive salad w/parsley, chive, tarragon vinaigrette. Looked really good so I made it for an appetizer along with Julia Child's pan-fried steak w/red wine-butter sauce.



Salad was good, but not good enough to be part of my regular repertoire.

I thought this was interesting. Just your basic chandelier above the dining table, but do you see the skull effect? Spooky!
